About UX Shortlist
UX Shortlist exists to get a buyer from a verified pool of 60 UX agencies to the 3 worth a call. Every page is a ranked shortlist built from verified facts: named projects, Clutch records, published rates and minimums, 1 reason to pass per firm, and 1 question to take into the first call.
Who makes this
UX Shortlist is researched and published by the UX Shortlist team, a small editorial group. We publish as a team rather than under individual bylines, and we do not invent editors, credentials or headshots to look bigger than we are. UX Shortlist is researched and published by the UX Shortlist team. No agency pays for placement, and there are no affiliate fees behind the links. Every position comes from the published rubric, and the publisher's sole editorial power, deciding which verified firms join the roster at all, never changes how the listed firms are scored or ordered.
How we research
2 sources only: an agency's Clutch profile and the agency's own site, with public records (SAM.gov, acquirers' newsrooms, regulatory filings) for ownership and contracts. We verified 60 agencies and list 50: 6 were defunct or absorbed, several of them still ranked elsewhere as hireable, and 4 firms are excluded from the current roster. We never source facts from other directories or roundups, never estimate an unpublished number, and print Not published where a firm keeps a figure private. Each page shows its Last checked date and a What changed log, and every page is re-verified at least twice a year, in April and October.
Corrections
Report an error to [email protected] or through the contact form and we re-verify the affected facts immediately, outside the normal cycle. Confirmed errors are corrected within 7 days, usually faster, and the fix is noted in the page's What changed log with a date. Agencies can submit new evidence for scoring the same way; new claims get verified before anything moves. The full standard lives on the editorial policy page.
